Visionforsport Terms and Conditions of Business
All business will be conducted subject to the terms and conditions laid out below. We respect your rights as a consumer and we would request that you respect ours as a supplier. Therefore these terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
The seller in these terms and conditions is Visionforsport and the consumer is the purchaser of these spectacles. Throughout this agreement, this is how we will refer to both parties.
To comply with the optical regulations we need you to confirm that you are over 16; you must not be registered blind; you must be in possession of a written prescription for your spectacles issued by a qualified optician within the last two years or 12 months if you are over 70. At time of ordering you will be required to provide a PD and scan in your prescription. All goods must be paid for at the time of order. By using our website and placing an order it will be assumed that you accept our terms and conditions.
All products are supplied subject to availability at the time of order. We will always offer an alternative if you first choice is unavailable. All prices are correct at the time we published them on the website but are subject to revision. Where a price has changed we will contact you for your approval before processing the order. We reserve the right to decline to produce spectacles if your prescription is outside of our range.
Cancellations, Returns and Refunds - prescription sunglasses
If you have ordered prescription lenses, you may cancel your order within two days but please let us know as soon as possible. Lenses can be cancelled within 2 days without charge, but after this the manufacturer will have started making your bespoke lenses and we will be charged for them. In this instance we will invoice you for the cost price of the lenses and refund you the difference.
A period of adaptation to your lenses is not uncommon, especially with Direct Glaze lenses. The wrapped prescription lens will temporarily alter your perception of space but you should adjust to the new visual information after a short period; this is quite normal. If the discomfort in your vision persists, please let us know so that we can check all your details thoroughly. We will offer a full refund on any product if it is returned within 14 days, unused and in its original packaging.
Visionforsport and our lens partners provide goods that are to British Standard and are of suitable quality. They offer a reasonable level of protection if used for the purpose for which they were intended. We cannot be held liable for any damage or injury if they are used for any other purpose.
In the event of a dispute between the seller and the consumer that cannot be reconciled the courts in England will hold jurisdiction.
